Aging Well Collection

Located on the second floor of the library, the Aging Well collection supports enrichment, creativity, accessibility, and lifelong learning for older adults and those who care for them.
 
Browse the Aging Well collection in person or below and discover a variety of engaging books and materials that keep the mind active, spark nostalgia, and provide creative outlets. While only GPLD cardholders may place items in the collection on hold, anyone is welcome to check out on-shelf items. Aging Well items check out for three weeks.

This historical presentation is a multi-media experience which includes PowerPoint slides, storytelling, and a display of over a dozen beautifully hand-crafted quilt replicas, representing patterns and special stitching used over 200 years ago by abolitionists and fugitive slaves to signify escape routes to the North.
